Jasiah Wiggs: Freehold Boro High School : MVP honors awarded to this top tier WR at the Boardwalk Beasts first Tryout of the 2024 Season !!!

Jasiah Wiggs, a freshman at Freehold Boro High School in Freehold, New Jersey recently partook in an early off-season showcase presented by NUC Sports/Boardwalk Beasts 7v7 Football club in which he took home MVP honors.

Wiggs, a 2027 Prospect, had a fantastic day dominating his competition as well as showcasing his speed and agility.  The Freehold Boro prospect showed off his athleticism during the agility station portion of the day.  He put on a clinic in terms of showcasing his ability to change direction as well as his overall agility skills. Participants went through a variety of drills to display their overall agility ability as well as speed.  He displayed quickness and excellent lateral movement at each and every station.

Jasiah who’s brother plays on the 18U squad immediately turned heads with fantastic footwork and technique in position specific drills.   His backpedal was fast and technically sound, with little head movement and kept great balance throughout the rep.  He had good breaking ability on footballs on the defensive side.  Offensively he really opened it up when it came to running routes and set the bar for overall explosiveness off the ball as a WR.

In terms of physical ability, he used his speed and agility to put himself in the right position to win every rep.  You could tell he has a solid Football knowledge in terms of depths and just overall understanding of how, where, and when certain routes are run.

Jasiah will join the U15 team and make an immediate impact.  He, like his older brother, has a ton of potential to grow both mentally and physically.  Wiggs has a very high ceiling and will continue to climb with every practice and game played during the spring.  I can see this guy fitting right into the core of the already existing U15 Team.
