Eric Winters: Enterprise High School Football : Newest NUC 5 Star can do it All !!!
Eric Winters, a junior at Enterprise High School in Alabama, will look to make an immediate impact as a 2025 rising junior. He has recently been lauded for his football excellence earning a five-star rating from NUC Sports, and is seen as a top prospect for college football.
Winters has always had a passion for playing football and attributes much of his success to the hard work and dedication he put in while growing up. The natural athleticism began to really show on the basketball court as he began to mature. An all around Athlete, he also participates on the varsity hoops team, where he averaged over 5 points a game. Eric also plays for the GasCrew 7 on 7 club in the spring. He started seriously training when he entered high school and gained recognition as he developed. Winters has already displayed his ability to play multiple positions, showing his versatility.
Eric has always been a major contributor to his team, but his work ethic and leadership skills are what sets him apart from others. He has already proven he can be a big time contributor on both sides of the ball. Winters is the ultimate team leader and a reliable asset on and off the field. Standing 6-2 and weighing 200 pounds, his burst and explosiveness allow him to make game changing plays on Offense and Defense.
He has tremendous ball skills and above average closing speed. Winters has the ability to play multiple positions. Offensively he is a deep threat every time he lines up at wide receiver. Eric displays phenomenal hands and has great twitch, allowing him to play both linebacker and safety on the defensive side. All of these attributes helped him earn his five-star rating from NUC Sports.
Winters has been in contact with numerous college programs who are looking for his services. Position wise, I personally am leaning toward him to play on the defensive side of the ball at the next level, however I wouldn’t close the idea of a couple of places using him both ways. He is a top level talent with top level work ethic, a gritty hard-nose attention to detail type of guy who will only get better with time and maturity.
