He said coach we don't want to make the Playoffs that way like that's not what We do don't say a word about that we Want to earn it when you get to the Playoffs we want to have earned it and I Kind of went I didn't want that answer I Wanted to make it then you know that Like I wanted to make it then so then to Me the quote I think it's Don Staley Said it to her girls is life doesn't get Easy like it doesn't get easier it never Gets easier you just adjust to the heart And I think when your kids and your Coaches start learning It's going to be hard and we want it to Be hard because that makes us better That's to me when the light will start To kind of go off when you don't want it Given to you you want to go earn it you Know we used to play teams and if their Best player was out our kids would kind Of celebrate that like man their best Guys out we got a chance to win and and I would be like now I'm I want to play Them at full strength right I want to Play them after abut and them at their Best because I want to prove who we are And I think when our kids have started To buy into that it was about year four Or so for us till we really started Buying into that mindset uh that's when We started to see success
