You say okay this school this school This school is interested this school Offered but you always have this option To go into the transfer portal if you Don't like where you are you know try it For a year or try it for two Years well from a high school standpoint That is how kids who go to I would say The lower levels look at it uh not every Kid you know not D3 kids per se but you Know if you're an FCS or or a group of f Five Uh maybe I can maybe group of yeah group Of five schools um which is below the Power five which is power five is like Uh the Big 10 ACC you know ACC yeah uh Big 12 right so yeah um the group of Five Are h i Sun the AAC the sun Bel Conference USA the Mac yeah so those Guys are always you know if they go to One of those levels below power five They may be looking to upgrade Um but from a high school player Standpoint the best thing is really go Where you're wanted because it because If you if you're you know to go to camps And you're getting recruited and and you You've done everything from that Standpoint you've done anything on a Playing field and you've you marketed Yourself that's a big thing you got to Use Twitter to Market yourself you gota You know uh to get your name out there
You got to reach out to coaches it's Important more important than ever Because wow there's no such thing as Like like I said the top 200 kids they Get bound no doubt okay I mean they're Bigger than everybody they're faster Than everybody doesn't mean they're Going to be better down the line but you Know the five stars four and five stars But they but they are ahead of everybody At at a certain point so they they have An opportunity to play right away like Guys want guys to play right away can Yeah So um so what happens is uh um from from A recruiting standpoint you got to go Where you have the opportunity where you Wanted um and you got to Market yourself To give yourself the best opportunity You have to go to camps you got to be Smart about how you choose camps you do Out there there's so many and you got to Ask tough questions to coaches where am I on your board you know Like so guys will waste time in places That they have no chance of getting Recruited that's a mistake go else you Know for a camp in the summer so so it's Important to from a recruiting Standpoint to um to go where you're Wanted take advantage of the Opportunities that there and and and I Don't want to say like you know don't Hold out hope for a bigger school but
You got to commit when the time is right When you have the opportunities because You could lose those spots and that's One of the things that high school kids Don't know they could lose
