Devin Sanchez, a junior at North Shore High School in Houston, Texas has recently been recognized for his football play. He has earned a five-star rating from NUC Sports, and is seen as a top prospect for college football.
Devin grew up playing football and attributes a lot of his success to the hard work and effort he put in while growing up. He started to see how tranming and doing the extra things benefited his play on the field. The focus on training has gained him a ton of recognition as he continues to develop. Athleticism is definitely something that’s in the blood, both of Devin’s parents were college athletes. Mom ran the 200 and 400 meter dash, while dad played football both at UTEP! He also plays for one of the best club teams in the Trillion Boys 7 on 7 team !!
Sanchez has always been a major contributor to his team, but his pure speed is what separates him. A track star as well, he has recorded times of 10.8 in the 100 and 49.45 in the 400! He is a tremendous leader and has proven himself to be a reliable asset on the field. Devin has tremendous instincts for the ball.
In terms of physical ability, he has incredible burst and can shut down an entire side of the field. A player with natural speed and ability to close the gap when in coverage. He has the ability to change a game as a shutdown corner. Additionally, with great hands and the ability to run guys down, Devin is a 3 down corner! His football IQ is incredibly high allowing him to line up at multiple positions causing a nightmare for offensive coordinators. Each of these attributes bring more and more eyes on the top 2025 prospect.
Devin is now being recruited by some of the top college football programs in the country. His future looks bright, and it seems likely that he will gain even more recognition and success in the future. He has narrowed his list down to a top 3 which consist of Alabama, Ohio State and Texas A&M.
Off the field, Devin works in the community. He is a mentor to younger student athletes and a role model for aspiring football players. He is involved in a number of community outreach programs, and works hard to ensure a bright future for the communities he continues to serve.
