Blake Woody: St. Frances Academy Football : NUC gives 5 STAR Rating to a BIG TIME Playmaker !!!
Blake Wood, a junior at St Frances Academy in Maryland, will look to make an immediate impact as a 2025 rising junior. He has recently been lauded for his football excellence earning a five-star rating from NUC Sports, and is seen as a top prospect for college football.
Woodby has a passion for playing football and attributes much of his success to the hard work and dedication he put in while growing up. The natural athleticism began to really show as Blake began to mature. An all around Athlete, he also participates on the varsity track team, where he has been clocked running the 100 meter dash in 10.67. He started seriously training when he entered high school and gained recognition as he developed. He has already displayed his athleticism and versatility, opening a lot of eyes with his combine times. Blake has recorded times of 4.35 sec in the 40 yard dash, a 4.05 sec in the short shuttle and a 45 inch vertical!!!
He has always been a major contributor to his team, but his work ethic and leadership skills are what places him in a different category. He has already proven he can be a big time contributor on both sides of the ball. Blake is a team leader and a reliable asset on the field. Standing 5-11 and weighing 180 pounds, his burst and overall speed allow him to make game changing plays.
He has tremendous ball skills and above average leaping ability. The footwork and control he displays while breaking on routes is above average, coupled with phenomenal hands and great twitch, you have a complete high level guy. All of these attributes helped him earn his five-star rating from NUC Sports.
St Frances plays one of the toughest schedules in the country, with National Power Houses Mater Dei from CA and Chaminade from FL both lining up on opposing sidelines. Woodby will look to help continue the school’s winning tradition alongside a cast of players who will end up playing at the next level.
Blake has been in contact with numerous college programs who are looking for his services. He is a top level talent with top level work ethic, a gritty hard nose attention to detail type of guy who will only get better with more reps!
