TJ Valerio, a 2025 QB at public powerhouse Toms River North High School in Toms River, New Jersey has recently earned himself a three-star rating from NUC Sports. He In just his first year as a full time starter, he has led his team to a perfect record through the bulk of their season and has them lined up for a third straight Group 5 NJ State Championship.
Valerio is a monster day, dominating the competition in all aspects. The senior quarterback displays big arm talent and strength, zipping passes deep downfield and to WRs in tight widows. At 6.0” 185 lbs, he utilizes his solid frame and footwork to add velocity on his throws, allowing him to fit footballs into tough areas.
TJ is himself a natural leader. He takes control of the huddle and motivates his teammates. The 2025 prospect has great football IQ and knowledge, talking with coaches and other players about alignments, adjustments, with a high level of attention to detail. Playing for Toms River North who has won a NJ state Group 5 Championship the last two years, TJ has waited his turn, sitting behind NJ Gatorade Player of the Year and current Stanford starting running back in Micah Ford for the last 2 seasons, he has really made the most of his opportunity to be the guy.
