3,123. Our school is shut for the Foreseeable future, disrupting our usual Onampus football practice. Finding new Practice spots and keeping the team Intact has been a challenge. The kids Are scattered across Englewood, West LA, Hollywood, Westwood, and Santa Monica. Even with Santa Monica being central, LA Traffic means it takes nearly an hour For our 15 regular attendees to get There. It's tough to bring everyone Together and it's been a bittersweet Journey to find a new home for our team. Despite the uncertainty of practice Locations, we have a steady schedule now And I'm truly grateful for our team's Commitment. Being part of this program Since freshman year, having reached the Championship twice and winning the League twice in three years fuels my Drive to keep everyone united. Losing Our field and firsthand witnessing some Teammates families lose their homes due To fires has been hard. Some students Considered transferring, and I'm Determined to keep our squad together. Parents stepped up, suggesting a video To reassure everyone of the upcoming Football season stability. Teens Shouldn't handle such stress, so being Able to escape to football for a few Hours is crucial. As some competing Schools are ahead, we're building back From scratch. Despite challenges, our
Bond is the strongest, supporting each Other through rides to practice and Equipment needs. This off season shows a Dedication I haven't seen before. The Kids are eager to return and unite. Our Goal is clear. Football is happening Irrespective of venue and we're itching To play. The season's start might feel Off, but I trust we'll find our rhythm And showcase our resilience. Wins will Highlight our strength. Losses will Guide our improvements. Excitement Builds as we anticipate that first home Game, imagining our field vibrant with Life again.
