With six minutes to go we went down and Scored because now our kids have bought Into we want hard like we want it to be Hard and we want to earn it and I think That's but you gotta have those hard Stories to kind of get that culture Going and then we try to constantly Remind our kids about that you're Standing on the shoulders of the guys Who came before you you know it's easy Because at least when they were young They can kind of remember that right Because they grew up watching these 0 And 10 teams and I think that's you know Coach the reason that a lot of teams Because you know here in Jersey right It's it's you know football it's it's it Is what it is it's it's big and but you Can see certain teams like the playoffs Are about to start this week and you Kind of look at all the brackets and It's the same names right it's Constantly the same names and you know I Played in in the early 2000s and Dave Played here too and we talk about it Every year you see the same programs Over and over and over and why is that Right and you know I've recently Tak you Taking a job at a program that's a very Big it's a traditional you know Big Time Program but they've kind of fell off a Little bit in the past couple years and You know you kind of look at it and you Say like you know winning breeds winning
And you know when a team goes down when Certain when these certain winning Programs go down 14 nothing they don't Put their heads in the sand and it's Over they you know they literally go Back to the sideline like guys we're Good we're going to win because that's Just what they're accustomed to winning And I think that's a huge part of it and And once you make that turn you're good And you just you stay consistent like This is what it is this is the standard And you kind of move forward and I think You're kind of there now yeah we were Down
